About the author
Author Janice Ronald is the owner of Family Dog Training and Behavioral Center in Valley Center, Kansas. She has written numerous articles for local and regional newspapers on obedience training and solving unwanted behavior in dogs. Janice is a certified Therapy Dog Evaluator for Therapy Dogs International. Being involved with dogs her entire life, Janice has come to appreciate the important role these animals play as pets and as helpmates.

LEROY THE UGLY DOG in the flesh! Leroy is a Wirehair Pointing Griffon and a certified Therapy Dog. Leroy was adopted from the Wichita Animal Shelter ten years ago, he is now twelve years-old and lives with author Janice Ronald.
